The Society for Pastoral Counselling Research proudly announces its twelfth annual conference which will take place at 400 Huron Church Road, Assumption University, Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

The Society for Pastoral Counselling Research is an unaffiliated and non-profit corporation and registered charity devoted to the practice of Pastoral Counselling. The Society responds to the need for a forum wherein pastoral counsellors may share and exchange experiences and ideas emerging from their work. The goal of these exchanges is to support the development of theoretical and research models and treatment approaches specific to the pastoral counselling profession. The Society for Pastoral Counselling Research is for mental health professionals who, in their practice, value and address all of a person’s concerns, including the biological, social, interpersonal and spiritual.

The Society for Pastoral Counselling Research holds annual conferences and organizes pre-conference workshops relevant to the practice of pastoral counsellors. To promote and encourage research on part of the pastoral counsellor, the Society presents research awards to recent graduates, young researchers, senior researchers and to researchers with a distinguished career in research. The Society is committed to extending research findings and knowledge beyond the conference by publishing its proceedings. Three of its publications are: The Challenge of Forgiveness, In Search of Healing, and Spirituality and Health: Multi-Disciplinary Explorations (in press).
