About us Society for Pastoral Counselling Research The Society for Pastoral Counselling Research is an unaffiliated and a registered non-profit corporation devoted to the practice of Pastoral Counselling. The Society responds to the need for a forum wherein pastoral counsellors may share and exchange experiences and ideas emerging from their work. The goal of these exchanges is to support the development of theoretical models and treatment approaches specific to the pastoral counselling profession. The Society for Pastoral Counselling Research is for professionals who, in their practice, value and address all of a person's experiences, including the biological, psychological, social, interpersonal, and spiritual. The Society for Pastoral Counselling Research holds annual conferences and organizes pre-conference workshops relevant to the practice of pastoral counsellors. To promote and encourage research on part of the pastoral counsellor, the Society for Pastoral Counselling Research presents research awards to recent graduates, young researchers, researchers with distinguished careers, and/or researchers for life time contributions. Various modalities to publish the conference proceedings are being considered.
